Suddenly a shadow fell across Gray as Arjuna stood over her with a stern look on his face as he glared. "May I? That pet of yours?" He extended out a hand for the cage that Gray held.

"His name is Add...He's got the personality of the knight of the round table, Kay...Be gentle." She gave him the cage, he immediately retaliated by yelling. "WHO'S THIS GUY?! WHY'S HE MANDHANDLIN' ME?!"

Arjuna held the cage up this his face. "This 'guy' who is currently - to use such a vulgar term - 'manhandling' you could induce levels of pain like you cannot imagine, whenever he wanted. To believe that you were once an honorable Knight of the Round Table. To have degraded yourself to such a level, to have fallen so far..."

The cube was stunned, going deafly silent. He's never experienced such a reaction, as Gray usually didn't bite back and not nearly as hard as he.

"Tell me, Master, why do you tolerate the existence of this dribbling creature if it constantly verbally assaults you?" Arjuna asked with a raised eyebrow. "There is more to this relationship then meets my eyes, I'm sure of that."

"He's...The mystic code, for Rhongomyniad. Without him, i'm a useless person and even worse master. I don't have magic circuits...To my knowledge at least, apparently; miss le fay used this to seal Rhongomyniad's mystery so it stays strong."

"You are my Master. When it comes to you and me, you surely recognize my greatness over you. Yet, that is irrelevant." his voice was stern yet empathic, "You are my Master right now. I am your Servant and by sheer virtue of that, you are anything but a useless person and worse Master. I would never have chosen a weak Master." His deep brown eyes stared right into Grays intensely. "Yet here I am. As your Servant. So never degrade yourself like that again for in doing so you insult me."

"Right...Sorry, Arjuna." She bowed her head in shame; looking quite distressed as she covered Add's cage. Add remained quiet after, Gray still looked confused...Thinking about something. "Arjuna...Purely hypothetical, but if one...Liked girls; How would she-....They...Go about it? Like finding partners and the like? I assume you have many partners?" Gray knew very little of Arjuna's origins.

Arjuna crossed his arms and raised his eyebrow. "Yes, in life I was gifted with the love of four wives and they were blessed to be worthy to be wed with me. One of them, Draupadi, shared her love with not only me but my brothers. It was a difficult but fulfilling relationship even if in the end my actions with her led to my exile. I am aware that in many cultures it is strange to have so many wives but it matters not for in my eyes love is what mattered. Even if I started my love with one of them when she tried to sacrifice me on the alter. What fire she had in her eyes..."

"Ah...T-that sounds lovely." Gray awkwardly rubbed her arm, lighting cigerette and leaving it next to her. Inhaling the smoke as she sniffed...Exhaling with more calmness. It reminded her of Waver.

"Why did you ask so suddenly, Master?" Arjuna cocked his head slightly. "Is there someone you desire?"

"Not really, I wish I did...But the masters are, for lack of kinder words...Insane, Arjuna. None of us seem to know what we're doing, but the ones that do seem to be almost as old as Sir."

"You would have to be insane to survive this world," He nodded. "With age comes wisdom and I am old enough to question this... I never took you for a person that polluted your lungs in such a manner, Master."

"Oh, no! I'd never smoke...It just makes me remember sir....He was the one who made me hide my face. He said it reminded him of someone he hated..." Gray only seemed to be remembering the negative moments, huddling into a ball as she sat down.

Arjuna didn't exactly move to comfort her. He didn't move much if at all, internally perplexed at what to do, but outwardly seeming to remain stoic and unchanging. "Then that is a cruel action. A face is part of who you are. For someone to hide your face to to hide a part of your soul, a violation that is an insult not only to you but to me as well. And yet you mentioned before you admire this... 'sir?'"

"Yes...He gave me a home and an ideal. I served him till my bones ached and my eyes grew tired. If it wasn't for him I would've become another of London's many orphans. I daresay i'd be desperate enough to sell Add in that situation..." Gray slowly removed her hood, revealing what was essentially a gray haired Artoria staring back at Arjuna.

Arjuna cocked his head at her face in interest with a look of curiosity on his own. She had a face that certainly fit a woman fit to be his Master. "He may have taken in you when you had nothing and gave you a good life... but he was wrong in telling you to hide your face. You should not have to hide such a face like yours, Master Gray. It is important to serve those that have given you your grace, I know that from my own experience, but you should always keep your pride in who you are at your core. Without pride, you have no self-worth. Without self-worth, you are less than naught. If you are to wear that hood to hide your face then wear it because you decided it, not because somebody else decided for you."

"....Very well.." With a flourish, the hood on her attire was ripped off. A dramatic gesture, but one to make sure she couldn't go back to it. Dropping the hood onto the floor as she sighed. "Arjuna..May I ask you a question? I know you may not see me as your friend, but if I die in combat...Could you please be the one to bury me? If there's...Any of my body to be found. Ideally, i'd wish to be buried in London...But i'm not picky...Can you promise me Arjuna? You don't have to..."

"Maybe." he nodded gently at her words. "But that will not stop someone like me from attempting to do so. I gave you my word that I would protect you until my last breath as my Master and that I shall do. I am not a person who takes back what I said." "What do I wish to do?" he stared up into the sky, Gray would see a hint of a look of loss and regret in his eyes despite his best efforts to hide it. "Well, Master, I... I hope that you will forgive me for what I wish right now is selfish and vain even for me... I wish... to be alone for now if you would allow it." He looked back down right now, not really hiding the slight shame on his face. "Forgive me, I'm not really an Endowed Hero at the moment am I?" attachment

The familial atmosphere between Tao and Hermes is catchy. She just met them, but Silk already feels like she could call them friends. "Cute is overdoing it," she says with a wave of her hand. "But thank you. I like this dress too." If her body image hadn't become a little better, she wouldn't even be able to wear a dress like this. Well, she's probably still not at the stage where she'd wear something like a bikini. "Is that..?" Silk's eyes find an exhausted looking Emiya. "Hey there." She calls over to him. "You look terrible."

He was minding his own business. It had been hours since he had returned from the mission to Hell. He felt the heat on his skin to soem degree still. How long had they actually been in the hellscape? A few hours? Maybe more. But it was one of the worst hours in his summoning. Seeing his master in such a state. Filth spewing from every opening in her body. It was detestable. He has many regrets. But that much made him rather.. disturbed. They had worked around the clock. Preventing each others deaths and preventing the death of the masters. But now. He could breath freely. It was nice. But the scent lined his tongue like he had drank Mercury. "..?" Ah. Itd been a while since they have talked. He can barely remember the last time they talked. Turning on his heel. A small chuckle escaped him as he looked at him. His arms crossing as he put his chin between his thumb and pointed. Clutching it as he looked at it. "I see I see.." He mused to himself. Then thee 'You look terrible landed', Oh the misery! He took a moment to think. And answered in a decently honest way. "I went on a pretty long mission. It was easy enough." He approached her, he had increased in muscular mass it seems!

"Don't just start walking towards me so ominously." Silk instinctively backs away a bit out of head patting range. "Was it really that easy?"

"Ominous? Jeez, you make me out to be some untrustworthy fiend. It was just pretty long." Her squinting at him was quite something to behold. It was also, pretty amusing. "You'd do yourself some good by relaxing. You're too ready for a fight." It was sickening. How tired he had become of seeing people go mad. That Archer classed servant forgo'd his sanity for them to succeed. It troubled him more then it was worth. He closed the distance once more between them to roughly 0.72 of a meter!

Just say 70 centimeters! "Of course I'm ready for a fight. This village is getting overrun by monsters if we don't do anything to help it." Silk still stops being so tense and lets her shoulders sink a bit. "I guess there's enough strong Servants here that we should be fine."

Quick math and unit conversion is beneficial and a necessity for society! "Yes. That is certain. But there are reasons all soldiers eventually lose effectiveness in battle, even the most trained ones. You can't always be ready for a fight, the mind can't handle that." She may have her hair turn white if she does that! Though. He'd likely pull her by the scruff of the shirt if that happened. To relax of course! His expression shifted slightly in a sly amusement of her relaxing anyways. "I'm honoured to know you think so high of me." He chuckled in a manner he had rarely done for a while now! It was rather.. refreshing to him..

"I wasn't talking about you." Silk answers with immediate denial. "But if I was, it's just a fact. You are a strong Servant." She squints at him again. "What's with you? You're way too amused today. Did something happen?"

"You're lying. I'm only half fae, but I can still when people are trying to deceive me." Silk walks up and places her right hand on the Archer's abdomen. "Eh..? You're not wounded. For some reason, I thought you were covered in blood." She crosses her arms. "What was that mission about anyways?"

He panned his gaze off. Was his deception that flawed or did she have greater insight then he expected? Perhaps both. Perhaps it was just the instinct. "Hm..? What'd give you that impression." That was strange.. Did her fae natural advance to being a black light of some sort? Could she see how much blood was on his hands? "Well.." .. What could he make up to seem easy? His sense of ease was distorted so much it may falter. It'd be best to not lie and risk the fury of a fae. God knows he's already done so. "Well, Wizard Marshall Kischur Zelretch sent us on a mission to reclaim a ship for him." Where was the catch? Well, he wasn't technically lying. But any mission that a true magician couldn't do themselves ought to have a catch

"Ha ha ha." Silk imitated an unenthused laugh. "If you don't want to tell me, it's fine. Just don't go walking around like a lost puppy or people will think something bad happened."

He returned her sarcasm with a unentertained, trough expression. He let out a small chuckle. It was best if she didn't worry nevertheless. Perhaps some adventures are for another time. "When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth." Quoting Sir conan Doyle? Perhaps. But was he serious? Sometimes you couldn't tell.

"Has it made any attacks on the village before?"

"Once. It was still not as large as it is now. I've been keeping it on check."

"Don't worry. It's just one big guy who swings around. Enough force will bring it down." He replies.

"Weakpoints. The village would best be served by establishing a perimeter. You posses learned of the area. What areas are we weakest in that our foe with exploit?" Arjuna had learned during his time as well that he wasn't the only one seeking to dishonourably win using abhorrent methods.

"A servant on each side may provide security. But that may not be enough. I will not accept that my victory was anything but a resounding victory who's outcome was never in doubt. Anything less would be unbecoming for this tribe. Making what fortifications we can would be best. I suggest at least a rudimentary barrier and for the village to station guards around the perimeter."
